Hi, I have been experiencing awakening pain at night. Around my belly button, deep inside, there is an intense burning feeling. This pain goes intensely into my back and I have to get out of bed as the pain is unbearable. I have had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and all is well. The internist has ordered an ultrasound for gall bladder stones and an aorta/abdominal. I am being told that I do not need an MRI and at the same time I have heard that ultra sounds sometimes don't pick up this problem. I have had 2 of these attacks. Does anyone have info or experience in this area? Thank you!
