I have had a heart murmur for years. My doctor is even considering doing an EKG to check it out. Occasionally, maybe every other month, I have been having chest pains, that a doctor once told me were plursy pains. I have been wondering if he was accurate. The pain feels like is is directly below my left breast. The pain makes me feel like I can't take a deep breath and feels that if I did take a deep breath, something in my chest would "pop". After some time, I finally work up the nerve to take a deep breath, the pain is terrible, I feel a sort of "pop" and then no more pain. I don't feel any numbness in my left arm. It is all directly below my breast, right where I can feel my heart beating. I am unsure if the heart murmur and the pain are related, but a second opinion would be nice. I am a 31 year old white female, 5' 3" and weigh 180 lbs. Thank you for your help
