I'm sorry to hear about your fight for a correct a diagnosis.........my daughter has just had her appendix removed on Tuesday.....she started with pain on her right lower side on saturday afternoon.....we took her to emergency doctor saturday night, who diagnosed straight away the early stages of appendicitis..........he sent us home with a list of signs to watch for it becoming worse.....as he felt at this stage it could cure itself........she went to school on the monday as usual feeling well in herself.....when she woke up tuesday morning she was again in pain....this time she didnt want to eat and had a temperature.........she was taken straight to hospital where they removed her appendix before the results of her blood test had come back........he appendix was very inflammed and very swollen, and they said they had removed it in good time. The surgeon told us after that all her blood test had shown appendicitis as long with all the information i had given him on her mood, behaviour, appetite etc.........he had had no doubts whats so ever right from first examining her that she needed surgery.........maybe u should change doctors......my daughter was 1 of 6 children that day to have the operation, and all diagnosed by hands on examination and all been to theatre long before the blood test results had arrived back.
