I have been doing a lot of research. There is a new bracing technique coming out of Montreal called Spinecor. Rather than a rigid brace, it is dyanmic and allows for free movement of the body. My 13 1/2 year old is being fitted for it at the end of this month - we will know within 4 months form then if it is going to work for her. It means being able to MOVE and to WEAR NORMAL CLOTHES!
