My mom is 83 and she had surgery one year ago for that problem. It wasn't as severe as that but she said she would rather die in surgery than to go thru the rest of her life that way. That almost happened. She got blood clots in her lungs and had to be on blood thinners for several months. Then she thought she had the same problem again but this time it turned out to be a rectiseal, not sure of the spelling. The doctors were very concerned about her having another surgery at her age and especially at her age. Again she said she preferred to die in surgery than to go thru her life that way. This time she had to use a surgeon that was a gastroenterologist instead of a urologist. This time she didn't get blood clots again, thank God. These two surgeries were done in less than one yr.If you don't mind looking she can squat down and use a mirror and you can see it, it looks like a egg without a shell in the vaginal canal. Both surgeries were done vaginally. I would love to hear back from you. If you are in the Dallas area,I can let you know the surgeons name, if not I could probably get him to recommed someone in your area, please let me hear from you.
