Yes, I have been using Gastrocrom now for about 5 months. It has helped me w/ many symptoms, such as diarrhea, abd. cramping, bone/muscle pain, joint pain, racing heart, and to some extent my hot flashes. I am also on Ranitidine and Hydroxyzine, so these may be helping as well. The Gastrocrom has to be taken 4x day, which may mean you will need to wake up at night to take a dose. I think it is worth it, because now I am down to only 3 doses every 24 hours, so I took out the dose I used to take at night. It may take a few weeks to take affect; hang in there. It has helped me tremendously. I had lost over 15 pounds because I could not keep the wait on, as well as malabsorption from the symptoms of masto./urt. pigmentosa. Sometimes the mast cells line the walls of your stomach/intestines and prevent absorbtion of important nutrients. Also, watch out for hair loss or thinning...this could be due to a Vitamin D deficiency, not another symptom of masto.; just a complication of it. Hope this helps anyone out there!
