I got silicone breast implants in 1972. I started with severe migraines. Over the years I have developed Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue and a host of problems. I take numerous medications. I am now disabled from work since 1998 as I can not sit or stand for very long without much pain. I have every symptom I ever read about (before I knew there was a connection to my implants.) I have memory loss and problems with my cognitive thinking. I am on disability. I had a good job and life is pretty grim like this. All the doctors I asked about this said NO WAY could it be related to my implants. The doctor that did the surgery had a stroke years ago. My breasts became very hard right away. Now one is higher than the other and mammograms hurt so much (and I fear ruptures) that I avoid them. If anyone knows of a ligit doctor in the Western Mass area, Please let me know via this post. Also I was part of a class action law suit in Boston but was somehow dropped and the lawyers never answered my calls. Any info there? I was told somewhere that removal was free. Does anyone know about that? Much appreciation and prayers to you all!!
