After, being positioned as expected for cesarian section (except both arms were extented outward and strapped like a crusafix), the table dropped into a "lateral tilt" and hung me by my right arm and hips. I could not hold or nurse my baby nor could I walk without extreme pain. Recently I have been diagnosed with L-5 S-1 Spondylolyithesis(?) with possible Pars interarticularis or fracture. This is usually caused be hyperextention as in a gymnasts back-walk-over. I can assure you I have never done one. Also herniated C-5, but the pain is the entire shoulder area and right arm and now the left is almost as bad. This pain I would closely identify with a brachial plexus injury oor more specifically as in a baby with Erb's Palsy. Please let me know if you have ever heard of similar injury.
