I was diagnosed this last fall with ACM. I also was born with Spina Bifida. I have been falling down all my life--so when I got this diagnosis and read up on it--I thought perhaps this explained all the falling (I've had a broken knee cap twice from falling). When I asked my neurologist if this was the reason for my constant falling down--she said no--It's because I'm over weight. Does this seem like an appropriate response? It does not seem to fit the information I have been reading. I felt it was an inappropriate answer, but perhaps she's right.
