My mother, 70 yrs old, was diagnosed with Hemolytic anemia. Test came back negative for cancer. She has had her spleen removed. There seems to be no improvement and the doctors appear to be stumped. She was on steriods until the spleen was removed. I have searched the net for any information but it appears to be limited. My family is at a loss as to where and what to do next. She is currently in the hospital again due to her blood count dropping and jaundice. Any information or additional questions that we can ask doctors will be greatly appreciated.
