I am hopefully just recovering from severe diverticulitis. My pain is in the lower abdomen and to the right side. I have lots of bloating and pain from gas all over. Had a colonoscopy a year and half ago and was told to take lots of fiber and bentyl. That doc. retired so I went to a new gastro. and he said I was fine and to eat anything I wanted and stop worringing about cancer,etc.I did and I really got messed up with a lot of infection. I am now going for a sigmoidoscopy with barium enema the first part of March. I had a pelvic CT scan last week. You need a good doctor.
