Shirley, Some things you might want to try for your problem would be Kashi Cereal (read the fiber content and you will be amazed) it can be found at some grocery stores and all health food stores, Miller's Bran, Flax Seed, and I have been taking Fiber Con. It has helped...another thing which I am starting to do is to make a diary every day of what you eat. It could be that certain foods are making you constipated. I've learned that refried beans don't help me. I read on one website (where a doctor was giving recommendations on constipation) that diets high in fat, sugar, protein and dairy can lead to constipation. Hope you get better soon! Amy
