This whole thing started about 5 wks ago. My step daugghter was sent home with lice. Not a big problem I said to myself. Well, it is. I have used everything from NIX to olive oil and she still has nits. The last two wks have been the hardest. The 1st wk I kept her away from everyone to rid the problem. She was home for three days from school, no nits, no lice she was clean. I sent her to school, they called me and said she still had them. My next move was to call the local health dept. I tried their method, she was clean. She went back to school for three days. The school sent her home again. I took her to the doctor, he found one nit. We tried his method, kept away from school for 4 days, clean as a whistle. Sent her to school, they sent her home with nits. They said it was that I hadnt checked my house or her hair properly. So I got the bleach and water, and anything else I could think of to clean with and set to work for the 4th time. Now I'M ANGRY. I again kept her from school and any other kid contact for 4 days. School and home with nits again. I am now waiting for the NPA to let me know if the nits I have sent them are live or not. My poor step daughter has a complex! She thinks she will always have them and never wants to go back to THAT SCHOOL! Does anyone know what I can do to take care of the schools behavior in this matter if the results are to my favor? This is crazy! My next step is to move out of town! HELP!
