If someone is in alot of pain they might want to consider surgery as an option. But they also want to consider that the surgery will NOT take them out of pain completely and that there are many many other complications, such as broken wires loose screws the constant risk of infection ect. I have been dealing with scoliosis since I was a teen and yes I do have significant pain, I have a double curve both, that are above 70 degrees. I work part-time and have a very full life, I have also had a baby with my back as it were. To anyone that is thinking of surgery I would be most happy to answer any questions they might have, however for me and maybe for others surgery is not always the answer.
