In response to your question regarding Enbrel, this drug is considered a disease modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD). The literature states that it may be helpful for decreasing the swelling, pain, and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis. I have several questions for you: How old is your son, is he being seen by a Rheumatologist, pain specialist, and what prior treatments/therapies has he had? What part of his body is affected by Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD)?RSD is now referred to a Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I hope all is well and your son finds relief of pain associated with his conditions.
