my mother has had non-hodgkin's lymphoma only of her legs for the past 5 years. she has hit the max for radiation. she has had 3 rounds of rituxan and now it is not working. md wants to give heavy chemo. problem is that my 79 year old mom is an old 79, and will not be able to withstand the rigorous chemo. my question is---has anyone else had this type of nhl and if so, what txs did u undergo--successful or otherwise. my goal is to keep my mom alive, but i fear this chemo will surely do her in..help, plez...thanx.
