Dear Mr. Mayfield, My son was diagnosed with polycystic liver disease about 4 or 5 years ago in his 20's. His case was quite severe and entailed tremendous pain. The Dr. operated on his liver and drained several liters of fluid. It was not a pleasant operation and it was quite painful for him. However, it helped him very much. He felt much better after. From what I understand he has 25 percent of his liver functioning and 100 percent. What did you Dr. say about draining the cysts.
