My brother-in-law's children were getting strep throat all the time and found out their in-door dogs were carriers! They got new homes for the dogs and the children haven't had strep since. Also, when my daughter was young she got it a lot. The doctors prescribed different drugs and finally penicillin cleared it up. That was over then years ago and I don't know what medications they are subscribing now. Check with your doctor.
