Hi, I saw a homeopathist (who worked really hard but couldn't help me), several medical doctors (most of whom said they'd never seen it before and couldn't help me). The last doctor, a self-proclaimed expert, I saw recommended the cream. I used it briefly; no improvement after approximately 2 months. For the last several years I have used nothing. The condition has not worsened, in fact it is somewhat better. I do take extra (800 mg) Vitamin E and evening primrose oil (1000 mg) each day. They are both good for the skin. I am 46 years old and was diagnosed approximately 7 years ago. I have also had eczema and Crohn's disease and other skin diseases. There has been some suggestion that lichen sclerosus is an autoimmune disease (like Crohn's). If anyone knows of researchers delving into this area, I would be interested.
