Hi, You probably will lose weight if u are on a high protein low carb diet. I haven't been able to gain at all since 3 yrs ago when I 1st went on the diet. It's typical to feel worst in the afternoons, particularly if you aren't eating enough meals. Be sure you are eating every 3-4 hours at least during the day. I eat 4-6 times a day, the more the better. The only way to really gain is to eat really often-they can be small meals. Do you check your glucose with a home device like Accucheck? You are avoiding fruit right?
