I'm a 47 yr.old who is extremly intelligent because I CAN unscramble what I see and make sence of it. Thats what I tell myself each day. I am slow at typing this but, I CAN type it. I have had to learn and work hard on by myself all these years. The thing that helped me was to put labels on everything --"drawer", "the door", "this is my glass"--- and by constantly repeating them as I ussed them. I did this on my own now they call it WHOLE- WORD LEARNING, and teach it in some schools. You can make a game of it at home with her during the summer. Just remember to give her lots of praise for everything even when she wrong, tell her good for trying. Maybe special outings for end of week rewards for learning 7 things. Another thing I learn about is tracking--letters and words jump around on a white page--saw a thing about alittle gril that got rose colored glasses and can read better--I bought clear colord platsic sheets binder dividers and cut up smaller and use them over what I read--it really helpful. Green, and pink and yellow work for me. Try this and see if it helps at all. It may be PART of it. There is so much more out ther now than when I was a girl. I'm glad I could sing, dance and draw well---that helped me feel good, but got grounded alot from them because of noy doing school work! Love, accept, encourage, and find all you can for her---God bless you for looking for helps---you will find them.
