Helen Hadlock
I was diagnosed with Meniere's disease 1 1/2 years ago. Today I had another bout with the wildest merry-go-round I've ever been on! The room spun and I couldn't focus on anything. I was nauseated. From my previous experience, I lost half my hearing in one ear, and now have tinnitus (a constant ringing), and my head always feels light and "swooshie". I always have to know where I place my feet, or I feel like I could fall over. When I move my head around I get a feeling of being "under water"...does anyone else feel like I do? I drive occasionally, but some days feel like I shouldn't. I don't physically show any signs of being sick...and people forget that I have something wrong with me... please reply.
