I have just been diagnosed with lymphedema - this it typically associated wtih breast cancer. I have not had cancer; however, I did have brain surgery - Arnold Chiari. This was totally corrected but I believe my gland was damaged during the surgery. I do not know much about this but it is limited to the left side of my face. It swells to the point my eye is completely closed and is terribly painful. It progresses to my left arm. Any recommendations???
