How can you tell if you really have RSD?I had compression from a cast put on for five days after arm was healed. Then cast was taken off, but hand was wedgwood blue including fingersWhole hand and forearm cast area then turned red and shiny and oozed, burned like fire. Hand still sparkles with pin points of oil or sweat.Pained for three weeks, Relafen and cortisone stopped the pain, but hand is still swollen and blue from cast damage and nerves are damaged. I can't feel my thumb or index finger. Does that mean it is RSD even though there is no pain?Hand color changes. Arm seems well, but hand still has nerve damage. Skin was swollen tight so now looks like an elephant leg. Swelling is very slowly going away. Cast was on Aug 25-29.I hope this isn't RSD.Does anyone know if they know what they are talking about? Help!
