Does anyone know the mode of Inheritance for this disease. I also need to know the frequency in the general population and i need for it to be calculated. Actually the frequency needs to be calculated.Ok so here is some info....Achondroplasia is inherited as an autosomal dominant traait. The majority of casses, approximately 80%, appear as spontaneous mutations. If one parent has achondroplasia, the child has a 50% chance of inheriting the diorder. If both the parents have the condition, the infant cchances of being affected increases to 75%. So please if there is any one out there that can help me please help.Thank you thank you.
