I have osteo arthritis throughout much of my body but recently have noticed what appear to me as bone spurs on my second nuckle on several of my fingers. This is very painful and have been told recently it could be something to do with ----thyroid. A nurse recently say my fingers and suggested I find out more about ----thyroid and I don't know the first part of the word, but it was something ----thyroid. Anyway, she went on to say there is a test for this to find out if I am deficient or not. Do you know what this may be?? I thought perhaps these nodules could be calcium deposits. My doctors has seen this but I don't recall him saying what it was and at that time it wasn't a great concern of mine. I hope you can help me. Thanks
