I've had severe hypoglycemia since infancy, & need something every 1 to 2 hours, or I get black outs, and in the past have been taken to the hospital, comatose. My husband has been diabetic since he was 13, & takes insulin. So he's pretty understanding about my problem. But there's been times when we've both been too busy, or whatever to eat, & have gone into these hypo reactions together, & luckily, we were with people who knew our medical histories, & gave us food in time, it was very frightening. That's why it's so important not to compromise your eating habits. Try asking your husband, to go to your doctor, or dietician with you, or show him some reading material on hypoglycemia. The book, The Low Blood Sugar Handbook, by Ed Krimmel is a good one. Good Luck to you.
