My 2 yr old son has a tonsil that's enlarged, the Dr. said it's viral, but is has been that way for months. It is as big as a small cherry tomato, and he often complains of a sore throat. Anyone else have this w/ solution? He is having his adnoids out this week and tubes for fluid in ears and adnoids are enlarged. I have asked if the tonsil should come out, too, but so far the Dr. is sticking with the viral idea.
